Hi Y'all! My name is MacTavish. I am a Texas cat and proud of it! You have heard that everything is bigger in Texas, well, I am no exception. I weigh in at an impressive 23+ lbs.

I've been told that my ancestry may have included Maine Coon or Norwegian
Forest cats. I do have personality traits unlike any of my adopted
brothers or sisters. I have heard my human parents say that my intelligence
is superior. Hmmm...what took them so long to figure that out!
My Dad says that I understand a surprising amount of human words, and I guess I usually do know what they are going to do long before they do it. They, however, don't seem to understand "cat" very well!

My
favorite thing (other than eating, of course) is being groomed. I also
believe relaxation is an important part of every day (you're surprised,
right?).
I especially love to lay on my back with all four of my large, furry paws in the air (as noted above)!
Ah, what a life. I do find the television entertaining, especially Animal Planet! Those birds are really cool, and there are cats even larger than me that I can always learn something from.
