Chauncey
In Loving Memory
~ May 15, 1984 to December 5, 2003 ~

This
handsome boy is Chauncey Jerome. Although we found him in an
animal shelter, he has all the characteristics of a fine flame point.
Chauncey is extremely fastidious in properly caring for his beautiful silky coat, and asks enjoys being combed, just in case he missed something on his own.

When he as younger, Chauncey loved to leap to the top of the canopy bed and march around proclaiming his prowess in full voice.
One of
his favorite pastimes (after a few naps in the warm sunlight) is to oversee
web construction and other computer-related activities.

Chauncey is very
talkative and sociable, unless you introduce a new male cat to his
household. When this occurs, he becomes "super cat," convinced that he
weighs 50 pounds (rather than the actual nine) and that he is the meanest
thing on four paws. Once he gets used to a new "friend," he loves to romp
and play, but there is always a period of serious adjustment with acceptance
under his terms! |

We celebrated Chauncey's 19th birthday on May 15, 2003.
We miss you, sweet boy.
