Memories in the Sun

I wandered the golden beach this morning
Soft sand between my toes
I watched the seagulls' silver wings above
And thought of you…

The times we spent gathering shells
And laughing at dolphins so free
The warmth of the sun was wonderful
And so were you…

So many such moments I treasure
So many smiles they all bring
The joys remembered as in a photograph
And always there was you…

Today is all too perfect
The Spring sky is azure blue
The ocean as always, is my friend
And yes, you are here too.
